New Puppy Cocoa!

This post as well is late.... I got Cocoa, a cocker spaniel while Roberto was gone to Mexico (what a surprise he came home to)! She is the sweetest dog and we have really enjoyed having her. She is beautiful (of course, I have to think that). The boys also enjoy playing with her.

Backyard almost complete!

I have been meaning to put some pictures on here of our backyard so you can what it looks like now. We have had the sod laid for about 7 weeks so I am very behind in posting this. At least you

get the idea of what it looks like though.

Best Weekend EVER!!!

I am a little behind in posting this but... the weekend of July 26th was possibly the best weekend ever! We had laid 3,000 sq feet of sod on Friday and thought it would have taken the whole weekend but when we finished on Friday we decided that Saturday we would play! We brought out the slip-n-slide..... no neighbors where home so we all joined in the front lawn. I was crispy fried from the sun and could not sleep the next 5 nights very well but it was worth it!!!

YES that is a naked baby and he was in 7th heaven!

I will spare you pictures of Roberto and I but we had a blast!!!!

After the slip and slide we went to Wilson to see the Bar J Wranglers. I am very sad to say that in living here for 8 years, it was the first time I had ever been!!! Boy, have I been missing out!!! I knew both brothers from one of my previous jobs in Jackson. They tried to talk me into going to it back then but life is always so crazy we never had time. I was happy that in the end I was able to visit with Brian a little and let him know that I was sorry it had taken me so long to get there.....I think we will be having a new summer tradition at our house!!! The photos are bad but the memories are great so bare with me on the photos.

Did I mention we had GREAT seats!!! Only 5 rows back. I was awesome. I definately recommend it to anybody!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!

Unfortunately, today was not the best day..... the following pictures should explain as to why. We came home to shingles in the flower garden, both rear view mirrors broke out of Roberto's truck, bark pilled off of our trees, the garden ruined (my tomato plants are the things looking like sticks in the garden) and last but not least the siding on the whole back of the house ruined.

YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY!!!

The title of this post is exactly what Gavry says whenever he is hungry, really likes something, or sees something yummy on t.v. Yesterday he was watching tv after his nap and a commercial came on the tv for pancake puffs with filling. I was in the kitchen making dinner and he started saying, "NUMMY NUMMY" when they showed the demonstration of the filling. He is so full of life, I love him to pieces! Last night the boys had spaghetti for dinner and I could not resist taking the above picture of Gavry. HE LOVES SPAGHETTI!!!

PIES, PIES, & More PIES!!!

I am little behind in posting this but on June 28th I made 22 pies for a wedding in Jackson, Wyoming. Ever wonder what 22 pies look like loaded into a car??? (Probably not, but here is a picture anyway)! It was a lot of work and made my home very warm!! I started Thursday night when I got home from work til around 2:30 am and then started Friday morning again at 6:00 am. I finished them all Friday night around 11:30 pm. I delivered them to Moose where the reception was about 10:30 the next morning. Boy was it a relief to know they were there safe and in the cooler!

Busy Weekend

On Friday, Roberto had his liver biopsy. It went pretty well. Gavry became a "Daddy's Boy" as they were prepping him for surgery so when it came time to wheel him away, Gavry was screaming. I think the whole hospital could hear him. The procedure took about a half hour and then they let him sleep for about an hour before we went back since Gavry was only wanting Daddy. He did a lot better when we went back after the surgery though. On Saturday Roberto wanted to go to Idaho Falls. He said it feels like 50 people had kicked him in the ribs (Ouch)! On Sunday, he wanted to plant some of our trees and shrubs in the backyard. We got most of them planted and he did quite well. Gavry is definately our little helper. He was trying as hard as he could to help out with everything! It was quite cute. The boys made their dad a stepstone for Father's Day. Roberto made a bear and I helped Gavry make a hand print. Boy was that fun!! Needless to say their dad loved them. Little Roberto and I made him breakfast of bacon, hashbrowns, and scrambled eggs. Our weather is finally beautiful and the garden is coming along quite well now. Yeah for the beautiful weekend!
