Long Time!

I cannot even begin to believe it has been so long since I have updated. Lets just say life has been a little crazy still at our house. Unfortunately, I still cannot figure out my camera issues so this post will be a little boring with no pictures.

We had a great Christmas. It was quiet but we truly enjoyed just being together as a family. On January 10th we went to Salt Lake to see the Jazz play the Detroit Pistons (thanks Aunt Nadine)! What a great game, we truly are hooked on the jazz. Due to some car issues we decided that it was time for a new honda so the following weekend we found ourselves back in Salt Lake to pick up a honda accord that I bought over the phone. I am in love with it though which is a good thing since I did not even get to drive it before I bought it! The following weekend we were back in Salt Lake to watch my favorite basketball player (sorry Jazz, you are my favorite team) Lebron James! Let me tell you, to see him in person is AWESOME! I have some great pictures and even more, wonderful memories! So yes, we were in Salt Lake for 3 weekends in a row!!

Update on Roberto, NOT GOOD! He has nerve damage that may or may not return. The bottom of his foot is numb most of the time. His toes are numb 100% of the time and the more activity he does makes the rest go numb. We have been seeing a neurologist from Salt Lake and are scheduled to do a nerve conduction study the end of March. So, needless to say, if you cannot feel your foot you should not be climbing a ladder so he is still home. The doctors are estimating that May will be the soonest he can return. He still has mobility issues even with physical therapy 3 times a week which will have to be re-evaluated also. He is very disappointed with all of the news but has quite the relationship with boys now!

Work for me is a little hectic to say the least! Back in December I was notified that I would be moving to a new office in February and overseeing an existing office. The hospital bought Teton Internal Medicine and let me know that I would be the computer trainer and "go to person" for the office. The clinic ran on paper charts (around 6,000 charts) and we are now converting them to a paperless system (lets just say it is a little stressful). Now on Monday I will be bring up another clinic that will deal with Cognitive Health. Again, this will be going from paper to paperless and then still be over the other clinics located in the professional building by the hospital. It has been a challenge to keep 3 offices running, getting the billing done on 2 different systems, scheduling, and just dealing with all of the items at come with a new office. I have had some VERY late nights!

Oh, I also forgot to mention that I also am taking a college class on line. I am going for my coding certificate and have to take an Anatomy and Physiology class as a prerequisite class. It is suppost to average 15 hours a week of studying which with a 53 hour work week means little time for other things. I should be done with the class the first part of April and then start the coding classes.

The boys are doing good. Little Roberto's teacher had a baby and now has a new teacher for the rest of the year. He really seems to be accelerating with her and I love to see the new progress at home. We have been truly blessed to have had such great teachers so far! Gavry is talking more each day! He now can really voice exactly what it is he wants. He and his brother are such very good playmates. Yesterday they were playing some game in the car on our way home from Idaho Falls and Gavry just kept saying when we got home, "Berto fun, Wuv you Berto, you fun"! It makes my heart melt!

March looks to be a busy month also, hope to try and get back soon to post more about our March adventures!
